We determined to set off using the hop on, hop off buses to get to a modest set of the best sights.
We had a tour round and first main stop was the 'Singapore Flyer' - this really is the largest big wheel in the world. It is a very robust structure and moves slowly and imperceptibly, making a circuit every 30 minutes.
